| A Development Agreement is a Council approved document which in essence is a covenant between the applicant and the City of Redlands. In developing some of the larger projects that will be built in phases over a period of time the applicant may wish to have a Development Agreement with the City. A Development Agreement may extend the current regulations and/or fees over a mutually agreed upon time period.
The Development Agreement is often linked to a larger project such as a Specific Plan, Conditional Use Permit, Commission Review & Approval, or a subdivision of property. The application will be reviewed by the Environmental Review Committee, Planning Commission, and final action from the City Council including the review of a Socio-Economic Cost Benefit Study. For the details of the meetings involved please refer to the Development Applications Introduction. |
