City management compensation and responsibilities

The City of Redlands recognizes its responsibility to provide comprehensive executive and management salary and benefits information to the public. While this information has always been available on request, we also recognize the convenience to both the public and City staff of providing a single, comprehensive online source.  The information provided is based on estimated spending for the current budget year and will be reviewed and updated at least annually.  Management positions listed include the City Manager, City Attorney, Department Directors, Assistant Directors, and public safety management for both Police and Fire departments. To provide context, we will include budget and supervisory responsibilities for each position where appropriate along with job and education requirements and current education levels of staff members.  In the near future, we will include Conflict of Interest forms for those positions required to file them. Elected officials, including City Council, City Clerk and City Treasurer are listed below. Additional information will be added as the City is able to gather and post it.  In future phases, the City will also attempt to provide comparable figures for cities and other government agencies of similar population and service levels as well as compensation packages from comparable private industry positions.
