Public Works Budget

Funding for the department's operations comes from a variety of sources. The General Fund provides for most of the administrative and field operations including employee salaries. However, a number of special funds are also utilized for specific purposes such as aviation, street construction, storm drain construction, park development, etc. State and Federal Grants are sought and used whenever possible.
